AR & AP Specialist

Full Time Position Job Details

Responsibility Areas:

    • Review, verify, process bills 
    • Enter & upload bills
    • Track expenses and process expense reports
    • Prepare and perform check runs
    • Post transactions to journals, ledger, and other records
    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
    • Monitor accounts and prepare analysis of accounts
    • Maintain vendor files
    • Correspond with Vendors and respond to inquiries
    • Assist with month end closing
    • Provide supporting documentations for audits
    • Execute Cash Application of payments by obtaining remittance advice from customers; examine and re-work complicated remittances to ensure accounts are updated correctly
    • Abide by Credit/Collections Policy and Procedures; ensure that customers, Sales Force and Sales Support personnel understand and consistently conform to Credit/Collections Policy and Procedures
    • Schedule and Manage daily calls and emails keeping up tp date on scheduled payments for past dues

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in an efficient work environment
    • Quantitative analytical skills
    • Team player skills 
    • Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and able to work within and meet deadlines 
    • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year accounting work experience
    • Strong communication skills; Highly efficient in English
    • Google Sheets, Quickbooks, and Excel skills experience preferred

 
Work Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday: 8:30AM – 5:30PM)
